Source sez these planes are General Motors "Fisher" P75. Date unknown, guessing they're late 40s/early 50s (tails and the #s differ, not sure if year is indicated on those #s):

B49 with prop/jet engines? Not sure of the designation(s) or year but guessing late 40s:

Yeah, not sure when the Sandridge line was closed down - musta been before the late 60's / early 70's, cos I remember it never ran in my memory.
The bridge over the Yarra was left there for decades until the whole Southbank redevelopment was done. That was in the early 90's, I know that 'cause I worked for the company that was involved in building that complex.
Are you sayin' that the one with the tram at Elizabeth St was up at LaTrobe rather than Bourke? I dunno - I reckon it's Bourke, but it's a 50 year old pic and I aint that sure.
    Anyway, thanks for the feedback.
    Cheers.

Yes, I'm sure it sold a few years ago. I'll ask my dad if he knows where it went

Lil32,the fourth one, W-cl*** tram front & centre, is Melbourne from the Argus Building; Shot tower (under gl***) and Swanston St apartment block still there now, not much else.
and Dad-bud, that box girder across the river is still there too; afaik cl***ified/listed (it was the oldest train-line) but the grade separation was erased from there back towards Port Melbourne, where a very similar bridge crosses Montague St.

After the Ford Plant closed, the building was converted into food wharehouse for First National Stores. In the late seventies the building was converted into The ***embly Square Mall, that still stands today.
