I think that IF you need such powerful light(full sun shine) to see minor difects then the piece is good enough for me

I never tried the ChromeX system but did try the Alsa Killer Chrome. Looked easy in their video. But no matter how I did it I could never get the good looking chrome like theirs. Always came out looking like very bright silver paint and nothing more. Not worth the price and I would never recommend the product.

    Hello Guys,

1st time I've jumped in on a conversation but i did see jay Leno's show on "Spray On Chrome" If you do a search for "Big Dog Garage" or Jay Leno's Car collection you should be able to find the video. From what i watched the stuff was amazing and it looked real! I'm sure there is a trial and error period but they did not say that on the show. I know i have it buried in my PC somewhere. If someone would like to see It send me your email address with the Subject Title "Chrome". I'll find it and be happy to forward it. Hope this is not against HAMB Rules. My email is a394sam@yahoo.com. Please do not give out to anyone else. I'll send you the info and you pass it on. I need to know how it works as well for my next build. Do not remember what product it was but it was something to behold. If I can figure out how to post a link to it I will do so.

Keep the rubber on the road and not in the air!

I think that problem maybe is that, that clear coat under silver is not fully dry! I wait for 24h but in workshop at night is some 13-15`c. But if i remember right, same problem was with parts what is dryed longer!

I've already try "Alsa Killer chrome", it's not like chrome, just like glossy stainless steel, but after clearcoat it's like silver wheels paint, Bad result for expensive spray [IMG]

I silver it- all is perfect! I leave it for 20 min, than 40 min in 45`C! Let it cool down and spray clear coat- again thats same! fck

the guy with the powerwasher is spraying the Silver nitrate solution. the guy with the pot system is just rinsing the extra chemicals, if the spent chemicals are left on the surface of the silver layer(at any stage) it will cause the silver layer to burn up and look un even. thats why they are sinsing it...

thats what I do on this video. see how many times I rinse it? but that piece was a master piece, never had an issue with it.
