It looks like it had some kind of fender skirts.....you can see the tabs in the rear wheel opening they would of bolted to.

If that is the one that I think it is, it's sitting on the side of I-40 in Moriarty, New Mexico just east of Albuquerque.

I've driven by there about a dozen times in the past couple of years but have not had time to stop. There is another place on I-40 between Santa Rosa and Tu***cari that has a whole lot full of old cars and trucks that I believe are for sale. I'd like to spend a week out there just looking at the old iron.

Looks like I'm not the only one who thought that when I saw the picture.

Got a smoking deal on these headlights and stands today! As I was walking away it dawned on me that they were COE (buy first, ID later) I knew they were Ford, but I need info on the bases with the parking/turn light. What year did they fit originally, and do the buckets fit all early COE's? Bit by bit I'm collecting parts, someday a cab will show up. Bob

Are the COE ones any different from the regular truck ones? I can't see any changes between them.

  27. Headlights for COE's do differ a little bit, 38/39 Ford are not adjustable from the inside only by turning the headlight itself, 40-47 are adjustable by removing the trim ring and winding the adjustment screws inside, the stands for 38/39 Ford do not have the parking light, they are plain, 40/47 Ford COE and 40/41 Ford normal trucks have the park lights.

The 40/41 Ford Headlight Trim Rings are the best looking in my opinion as they have a roll on both edges.
I rebuild early Ford Headlights as a side line and have spent a lot of time researching them.

  28. The other day I drove my COE out of the Workshop under it's own power for the first time in 11 years, A friend of mine did a bit of photoshopping and added my Coupe into the pic
