I love the looks of the discs, but I could never bring myself to cover up my Kelseys. Oh well.

This car was at the Long Beach Motorama a couple of years back (September 2010). I don't know who owns it:

Kevin you make some Kick ass products. Glad I was fortunate to get a set of your Lyons Repops! If I didn't get those I would have for sure jumped on a set of these!

Thanks for the good words. I know not everyone is going to like them, but I'm definitely grateful for the folks who do. I couldn't do projects like this and the Lyons reproductions without that interest.

I do have a few PMs to answer from folks curious to know if I'm going to do another run. But the short answer is yeah, I'm going to. So check the classified section soon for another pre-order date and if you PMed me look for a reply sometime tomorrow.

  14. I have mine now, simply awesome. What is not awesome is that I traded off and sold all of my 16s in my hunt for 15s so now I gotta go looking for more 16s!

Okay – Just want to keep you all up to speed.

18's and 17's are officially in the works. Still working on tooling due to rim offset and I want to make sure they look right across all sizes in case anyone mixes 16's, 17's and 18's.

So still a few weeks out yet, but I will keep you all aware and make a more official announcement when they are ready to roll out.

In the meantime, keep posting pics of the 16's.

Sorry, not really my thing. I've had lots of requests over the years and it just never pans out. I'd rather focus efforts on the stuff I would personally run on my own cars and hope others are stoked on it as well.

    Rick,

There was definitely a time when I had decided to hang it up. The short story is I decided to step away from it because at the time I didn't feel like I was organized enough to get product out in a timely fashion, and there were some other factors beyond my control which made it harder still. I still had a good name but I was on the ragged edge and saw it coming so that was that. Truly sorry if timing was poor and it left you hanging. That said, they are available right now! :)

Essentially some things have shifted in my life and I'm making another go of it. The pre-order system with small batches works really well and get's people their product quickly.

That said, if most everyone ends up with what they want and orders drop I may move on to something else. I have a lot of ideas and I just want to make cool stuff and get it out there and onto people's hot rods. (not cool to string a few people along so I can build a bigger order, you know?)

Hope that clears it up a bit and again, sorry.

  28. I welcome your honesty kevin. These things are tough with life, kids, jobs etc. Hope it works out perfectly in the end. Mine are waiting for the Model A project to resume.
