Well, the Flint Hills Speedster was piloted by a Coloradoan and myself, A South Dakotan held down the shotgun. Of course it was Norsurfs idea we take her out for a spin! Thanks guys, great time, we just got home, bugged out early to beat bad weather. I will put some shots up tomorrow.

Anyone got video of LilT riding with Mike and I in the speedster?

 

Awesome stuff!! When people comment on my threads and say "you made it feel like I was there" or how much they regret not coming this year.

I know exactly how they feel right now.. Wish I could have made it. Maybe I will next year now that school will be over for me next month!

 

Thought of you Matt when I took the photo of the 4 carb intake on that Chevy

Due to a scheduling conflict I was not able to make the run part of the 2013 H.A.M.B.B.Q. But I was able to capture a few images of a couple of the cars and scenes available while waiting for the group to get to the final stop. Thanks again NoSurf and family for putting on a kool event and hosting us all!






































That's it for now, I have some more that I will add to the gallery later.

It was good to see everyone while I could. I did make it down to test drive the Galaxie and I should be vibration free very soon, after another set of wheels is shipped to Finkd (Jeff Myers) and painted to match the ones that I've ruined that are on the car. Good thing they are only 8 months old... oh wait, that sucks.

THANK YOU to the Sweet family for their hospitality and friendship What a KICKASS time!! Great folks, food, cars, beer, moonshine, chickens, dogs, horses, dirt roads, pasture racing....what else does a person need for a good time??

The best part was meeting a lot of great people that I've only known on the board for years. I can't wait for next year!!
