    Yep..and if the name "Fulgur" was
    formed from contracting and then
    combining the words "Effing ugly"
    and "vulgar" it would seem that it
    was very appropriately named
    too! :eek::eek::D

    You have to love audacious early ads. :D Imagine any physician worth his salt shilling for cancer sticks today? LOL

    On the other hand, original 7-Up really did settle babies stomachs -- though I can't imagine trying to let a baby drink neatly straight from the bottle. I'm talking in the days BEFORE bottlers all went to high-fructose corn syrup instead of the original real sugar (cane and beet). Nowadays, all the soft drinks that USED TO taste good and had a "clean, refreshing" taste now just taste slick and syrupy, definitely not refreshing (much less calming to the stomach).

    Mart, if the HAMB bestowed an academy award for imagination and wordplay, you'd get my vote, buddy! :D

    Streaker, you can say THAT again! God bless those folks. Looks like after YEARS of making memories with that car, they're keeping
    those memories alive -- sort of likeDog's thread, eh? :cool: I'll vote for the pic as one of the thread's INSTANT CLASSICS!

    The hobbit...

  30. Some early cut 'n' paste I recon, you can see the middle section of the foot has no texture. Still... even with huge feet, you still would ;)
