    Ha...that things gonna launch like it's pissed at the world. In comparison, the coupe leaves the line mildly annoyed.

    Had a hour to kill today and started to get an inventory of my parts together.
    (or what I could at least get in reaching distance.... )
    ha ha

    excited...gonna start the build in mid summer.

    This is gonna be fun.
    could not get to the shifter,tranny parts,engine stuff,sheet metal,seat,slicks,etc,etc...

    TOYS!!! GREAT toys at that Jeffo. Hey, I've got one of those finned aluminum trans coolers and wanted to use it, but heard nothing but bad. Whutchu hear?

    I dunno Jeem..Have not heard anything bad.....but maybe on a street car it's different.
    I know a few fellers who run them and have not heard any bad newz..... but thanks for the tip
    I will investigate.....

    OK, it's been an hour and a half since you last posted. Surely you must be done by now.:rolleyes::D BTW, how did the '57 Ford turn out. Again................you must have had PLENTY of time for that one. OK,OK I'll give some slack but if your not done by next week that could change to SLACKER:eek::eek::eek::D

    Thanks Buddy..there are some redundent parts(fuel pump,carb parts,etc,etc)...since the injection crept into the party.....ah well.:)

    As soon as the 5 winder is done.... we start to climb this mountain......
    And I say this(tongue in cheek)......Since i have 90% of the required items... it should go rather quickly....... ahem.
    I am scrounging and saving for the reared..... gonna go with a bear equipped 9 inch set up.
    (Gee,... that did not sound right!.. hahahha)

    Wow, I just found this thread, Awesome. 6.71, Hilborn 4-port, alcohol, light-weight roadster, mid 11's to high 10's sounds way to conservative. You better be ready for a ride, that thing is going to fly.

    Not yet.....Gotta finish that darn 5 window first,,,, Hopefully the welder shall be sparked this coming fall.
    The good news is i have everything 'cept a set of axles and 3rd member....

    Just can't do 2 projects at once.

    i HEARD THAT I AM HAVING A HARD TIME DOING ONE. I HAVE A BUILD THREAD AND AN ALBUM ON MY HOME PAGE. I don't weld but I am about to learn a buddy of mine is going to teach me on my wagon floorpans.
