Actually quite a bit like your old A, Stu. Lots of differences too. But, I'm not starting 'til I get my other projects done...for the most part! I have much of the chassis bits stashed here and there.

Okay... finally made some time to get some work done on the Model A project. Thanks to Jay Riggs and Riggs Fabrication and Restoration for the help in getting the 331 Hemi and Muncie correctly mounted in the lil' A! More to come.

here's my '29 model AA as I bought it.
It's currently in pieces, waiting for me to get it off the back burner..
My hands are itching though when I look at these pictures, can't wait to get started and make something cool out of it.

BTW that junkyard is in Santa Rosa,CA and has TONS of cool stuff, as you can see they had a chevy as well. They also had a bunch of oldtimer 4x4 utility trucks, pretty crazy stuff. I spent a half a day just drooling over everything I shouldn't get into.

The cowl vent was stock on '28 Murray (Briggs?) 4-door bodies. That cowl takes the 30-31 body and molding down to the 28-29 size hood and shell. Hood is a 28-29 Rootlieb (German for Won't Fit) with the proper molding in it.

Cowl was free. Some didn't know there was a regular Roadster, Coupe, 2-Door tank underneath it. Usually in great shape.

Hey Blue Moon, can we get some info on your gas tank and it's placement? How about some chassis spec, rear end and mounting, front end and it's mounting ???

Your car is very nice and spot on to what I am planning to do to my 31 sedan.
