Ol 55, that black sedan that you just posted...wow. That's my vision of a '40 Standard sedan!

Bret if that's the one I'm thinking of, It currently lives in Tulsa and could be at Stray Kat. Danny Burroughs at Bruce's Hot Rods built it. (if its the same one)

40 sedan plus straight black paint minus hood equals perfect.

What a great collection of sedans, had one in high school, '40 tudor deluxe, black lacquer, TJ blue-and white tuck-n-roll, 326 Pontiac (stock, could'nt afford speed goodies), also couldn't afford a camera so never took pictures...

Some very nice examples here! However, almost all of them have a nose-down stance. Anybody have any pictures of 39-40s done in a taildragger early custom style?

That blue sedan on the salt was my car. Thanks for that pic! I miss that thing.... Wish I wouldn't have sold it.

  28. Don't mean to hijack the thread, but if any of you '40 Sedan lovers wanta' build one, I have a dis***embled Deluxe that's going on the market soon. I saw the car before it was dis***embled by the guy I got it from that lives a mile away from me. Front fenders were professionally done and ready for paint, running boards are ready for covers, gl*** is all cut ready to put in. Rear fenders were blasted. Complete, minus engine. About as nice as you'll find for $5,000. Have ***le and is stored inside. No disappointments with this one.

Wow, that is nice. Great stance, but I think I'd put flippers on it...I have a thing for 39/40 Tudors with flippers.......
