The body will need new subrails, but considering that it has been sitting outside in a hedge thicket since 1970; it is pretty solid up top. The door gl*** is still intact. When Mr. Lloyd ( the last owner) had the car it was red oxide primered, but had blue and white interior.

The owner was having a little "drink" while we loaded up the Deuce. I held it for him while he moved the Maverick out of the way. The Mav had some corn hiding in the air cleaner.

The fenders and hood are pretty bad, so I may offer them for sale here if a member needs them. Also have p***. running board.

Thanks for sharing the picking it up, have you started the bringing it back mission yet or are you just sitting in the garage smilling?

I have a 30 Tudor that Im working on now, so I want to finish it before I do anything major to the 32. The 32 body needs a lot of attention and I want to do it justice. I have been reading about 32 subrail options, and may just build my own. Im just glad to get it all home and have an exciting project down the road.

Just found this thread - glad I didn't find it earlier - the suspense would have killed me!

Good luck with it, but I can see already you are a very lucky fellow.

I have been looking at the complete subrail / floor ***embly that is offered for the 32 5 window. Has anyone had any experience with using it.

I have heard good things about united pacific, you also can get a floor/subrail system from brookville for the roadster with a slight modification.

Someone on here used the UP floor and they were very pleased. If I think of who it was I will edit my post for you.

That is probably why they were installed like that. I have the front axle and spring off the frame now and am getting ready to put the frame in a jig and start on the repairs.

I purchased the U.P. subframe floorboard combination (complete ***embly), front floorboard, and the vertical supports that go in the trunk area from "The Early Ford Store" in San Dimas, CA. They paid the shipping. They are very well made and fit the 5 window with no issues. I believe T&A Flatheads here on the forum has already installed his. He has a build thread here where you can look at the pictures to get a good idea of what they look like.

Have I missed something the last two and a half years or did this thread come to an abrupt end?

Neither rain, sleet or hail will keep a 32 nut from recovering this jewel.
