    I had a relative who survived "D " Day . I never really got all of his stories as he was having heart troubles the last time I was able to talk to him. Still, I admired his bravery. scrubba

    Yup! These photos were all before my time, but as a kid whenever at a tag sale and I saw the Aurora stuff I grabbed it. I've got a big plastic tote bin in the basement FULL of it. Two pit kits full of cars, tires, accessories, some in boxes, etc! And yeah running those things was awesome, the smell was great!

    SWI66, Thanks for the Sea-Tac & Floating Bridge pix.I can remember being at Sea-Tac
    early 1947. At that time IIRC it was called Bowlake Airport and the Floating Bridge still
    had the yellow/orange lighting at night.
