Thanks ryno - there are still plenty left to come, I just had to take a breather to work on some other things - including getting caught up on last years Stray Kat 500 photos - http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=698749&highlight=my+stray+kat as well as photos people ordered, a magazine shoot and tons of regular work.

See you in Dewey - even if the weather doesn't hold.

Thanks Pug man - I do have some COE pictures scattered about. I will see if I can find some of the links and PM them to you in the next couple of days.

Here is something you don't see too often - a 1937 Nash Lafayette.

Hi Dan, Thanks for a great pic of our Merc. We are currently getting the import approval to ship her home to Australia. It was a brilliant show & we look forward to heading back to LSRU in the coming years from Downunder

My buddy who is helping me paint my suburban thought my paint job was a little difficult. We have 30hrs in tapping and masking. I told him I picked an easy design. I can't imagine having mask that car off. I showed him the pictures of this car with a caption "It could be worse." He replied back "F#~@ that!"

Thanks for the comments here and on PBase. With any luck, I will get down your way for a car show. I was there in 2009 on vacation. Closest we came to Towsnville was Cairnes.

Thanks also Rockabilybus! For all of you following the thread ,please be patient - I still have a lot more. Real life, picture sales, out of town trips and a finicky photo computer are getting in the way of getting a lot done.

Hey Dan, 1 brilliant show for you to see is Greazefest in Brisbane. It's held on the first weekend of August. The Pizz & Von Hot Rod are heading down under for it this year. Meet Von Hot Rod last year. Well worth a look.

That sounds awesome! I haven't really been to Brisbane yet accept for the airport. I know I can't go this year, but maybe next.

    Dan,

I love what you do with the pictures you take and am looking forward to seeing them all.

In the meantime, I found a photo of my Studebaker that was taken in my driveway a couple of years ago and played around with it to see what it would look like. Sort of on the right path but it doesn't pop like your's.

I think the background is a big part of your shots and I wish I had the ability to see what you see.

Thanks so much 1 Cool Mo Fo and Bullet Nose. Bullet Nose - I like the treatment you did on your very cool car. Part of the trick is getting the best possible shot in the first place. I looks like this one would have been helped by having a polarizer and positioning the camera and car relative too each other to reduce or eliminate the reflection. Your Studie is very photogenic.

Anyway - sorry to all for the long wait getting back to this.

Thanks so much halfasskustoms and hombres ruin! Arturo's 50 is a very photogenic car. And most of the time it seems to be in places where I can get a good shot of it.

Thanks Dick. It is not that kind of thing I like to do too often, but it worked out well for this one.
