Heres the '30 Coupe I picked up (in pieces) in February, 2013. My brother owned it for about a year in 1967-1968 and, at 6 yrs old, it was the first Hot Rod I ever rode in!
I will join, I tried to buy this roadster 30 years ago when it was in one piece , in that time the guy who owned it cut it up and put bits all over his property so no one could have it. Finally I have it , now on the way to becoming a Highboy.
How 'bout sellin me those fenders you aren't going to need from the green and black?? People are such interesting creations. Cut it up and... Lucky he didn't bury it with a backhoe. You win. He lost. ------------ Not kidding on the fenders! If anyone has some nice '31 fronts and isn't planning a full fendered rod, I need them! Please!!
I have a rolling frame I z'd 4" with a 12 bolt under it and a 30 cowl and radiator shell I intend to turn in to a coupe if I ever get that far
Well I've already got most of a '31 Pick-Up: And I'm in the process of getting a chopped '31 Coupe, but I'll wait until I start working on either one to join the club. Can't wait - a truly inspirational thread!
Richfield, Idaho My late '31 Coupe about 2/3's of the way through a 1700 mile trip to Montana and home again. Bone stock except the wheels. The '35 16's are about to get traded out for a set of '32 18's all around. I didn't have the tires in time for this road trip. Other than the wheels, she is bone stock, and a joy to drive, just like that.
I don't think I've posted mine before on this thread. Here it is After I finished brightening up the last area of the sand blasted body Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
23buckethead... I would love to see a build thread on your car. I am thinking of sticking my 330 into a coupe I just bought and it looks like you've already been down that road. So many projects..so little time
