On The Old Motor we have a post filled with info and photos of Boomershine and both of their lots and the showroom. This shot shows Boomershine’s used car lot in Atlanta, Georgia dated March 14, 1953.

Franciscan Motors – Selling Studebakers in the American Southwest: We have an interesting post up on The Old Motor filled with photos of this interesting agency in Albuquerque, New Mexico during 1927. At the time they were selling the Studebaker and the lower-priced Erskine. See much more on The Old Motor.

My dad use to have two of those little scouts. A baby blue one and a brown one. They would go anywhere. We used them to go fishing just about every weekend. Brought back alot of memories.

Just been going over some older posts. On page 319,post 3670, I noticed the sports car, a Woodill Wildfire. In this month's Hemmings Classic Car there is an article about Willys prototypes including a sports car. This was the Woodill ,but the merger between Kaiser and Willys killed the Willys/Woodill link because of the Kaiser Darrin. So willys never got it's Wildfire sports car. Woody Woodill went on to build it on his own with modest success.
