    1963 mercury monterey breezeway,
well i stumbled onto this car via Craigslist.(at a great price !!)

i plan on redoing all the body work, stainless trim, and completely redo the interior.reworking the engine and transmission as well. im also adding power windows to the doors and rear passenger windows, along with power bench seat, and year correct under dash ac unit. and if i happen to find a year correct factory swing away steering colum ill add that too.

if any one has any of those parts available send me an email or private message.

Try Nu-Relics for the power windows! I put them in my Galaxie (direct fit) work great! Love that dashboard!

Great car! Which engine does your have? Mine was a stock 2v changed to 4v. I have a little more work ahead of me than you, but these are awesome cars!

just recieved these in the mail. Original wiring schematics for my 1963 mercury on over sized paperand printing on both sides . I will be scanning these in and saving them as pdf files so i can share on here.
these are very detailed and easy read and understand.

If you can! The cost of them being rebuilt plus the gears didn't equal out! The new ones have titanium gears!

    Crazy -

Thought I would bring this to your thread. You posted your VIN info on my thread.

    According to mercurystuff.com:

2Dr HdTp 2Tone Light Blue / Md Blue Metalic, Trim ??? Date: 5th October 63, DSO: Twin Cities, 3.00:1 Ratio Rear with Automatic Multi-Drive.
Manufactured in Wayne MI, 2 Dr Hardtop Monterey, 390 2v stock.

You have a Dealer Special Order car with special trim. Mine has no DSO code and a non-mercury code in the trim slot. I did find the color combo I have in the Fairlane sheets. My car had solid Vinyl block pattern. No crush vinyl at all.

Interesting that your hood has a fold on the opposite side mine does too BTW.
