He hung out with me at the Revival and seemed in good spirits but you can tell his kidney situation was fatiguing him. I really wanted to go on that '32 run and if there is anything that I can do to help I will surly do so.

R.I.P. Randy and condolences to the family & friends!

  3. We celebrated his 65th birthday April 27th.

I could always remember his birthday because it was 4/27. Get it? 427

Back in 1969 & 1970, he had a new 1969 SS396/375 hp Nova. It wasn't long before it had a 427 in it. With who knows how much horsepower.

This is so sad to read. Heartbreaking.

However, there's a lot of "gold" in a thread like this. It reminds me to take time to live, to be a friend, to let my wife know how much I care, and to be thankful for friends and a community that reciprocates in kind. I'm really struck with how much I take life for granted.

I feel for his friends and family.

    So long, Deuce Roadster.

My condolences to his family and friends. He was an important and well liked perso here online, and a fountain of good information.
Deuce Roadster, Flatdog, C9 all gone...they will build some fine cars up there somewhere. May we meet again.

OMG, This is such terrible news! Randy and his wife were all over the place! He made sure that he made it over to the Broiler for our cruise nite b4 the LARS. He is/was well respected and definitely showed a great zest for life and a sense of humor.

Gonna miss not seeing him on here. Godspeed Randy and know that you were one helluva Hot Rodder!

  12. I thought some might enjoy this picture of Deuce Roadster in his natural habitat - hanging out at the Charlotte Autofair.

This picture was taken in March of 93.

What a class guy, I have threads bookmarked that he did just so I could go back and reference. I sent him a few message's with questions and he always responded promptly.

Everyone could benefit from a guy like that, and should strive to be more like him in their generosity.

RIP Randy, thanks for all your help.
