Looking for some 1957 to 1960 F100 pictures,to get some inspiration for my Pick-up. Looking for some interior and engine compartment shots. And....whatever else you might have.

    I'll start with mine...

How about we just use the search function and continue the two that we already have? Cool trucks though...

Yeah, it's not a 1-1 truck. Still, I did it to specifications .

Oh yea....great threads....except over half the pictures are gone!

  14. That 57 fridge is inspiration in itself .... I love it!

  15. I dragged home this '60 a couple of weeks ago. Original owner vehicle, original paint, original spare ..... I also need "inspiration".

Hell I like these old Fridges almost as much as the '56! Bring 'em on! Wish I could find one!

  17. It's kind of gutted right now (cage, engine, trans. all out) but there are plans to put it back on the street someday.

Sorry for the quality of the photos as they are photos of old photos.
These were of my 57 back in 1965.
It was lowered with a dropped axle and removed rear leaves.
It had a Cadillac engine that was bored .120" over with Jahns pistons, later model heads that were ported and polished, big cam, dual AFT carbs. This was coupled to a B&M 4 speed Hydromatic transmission. It had the first set of headers that I ever built, first of at least 200 or more.
Everything under the hood was chromed and had an anodized aluminum firewall panel. It had two 60GPM SW fuel pumps mounted on the firewall.
The body was customized with a peaked hood and frenched headlights. The tail lights were from a new (65) Mustang.
The interior had bucket seats and a custom console that ran from the rear window to the firewall. It was topped with finned aluminum. The shifter and E brake handles were Mag from a B25 (?) bomber bombay door levers. It had SW gauges, including a temp gauge on each head ( holdover from our boat racing days ).
