  3. Holy Cowl!!! Haha. We bought this new rootlieb hood last year at Charlotte swap meet at a great buy and had the top louvers punched by don McNeil in Monroe nc. Super nice job by a super nice guy. $1.50 per Louver, quick turnaround too.

  12. Some tweaking, bending, cutting, grinding, re-welding may be required.

Nice work, and a lot of it!

Those rear wheel patch panels look like those sold by Steves and Howells but actually made by Tom Bay. What did you think of the quality and how close was the curve of the outer bead matching the original Ford body? I had heard the curve was not right on them. Nice work by the way.

Well, the p***enger side fits pretty good contour wise, but it is really about a 1/4 to 3/8 to short lengthwise putting it up to this original body, I will have to lengthen it in the front or back, I don't know which yet. The drivers side bead is off a bit contour wise, but I can fix that since I will not use the whole bead around the wheel opening, I can bend it to shape. As far as the length, I haven't got there yet , maybe today. But the stamping isn't exactly the same on both sides like maybe to different manufactuers? But none of this will stop the build. This is the way it always is with parts. But no, they are not perfect, lol.:DThanks gearhead1952.

Hey gearhead1952, turns out this side is twisted. Maybe too much. Executive decisions will have to be made.:) The bead is not like the Ford bead and the curve is not exactly the same. 3/8" too short. But Cory can deal with that. These panels are not what you would need for a good bead but ok for an inner fender.
