Very professional, both the station attendant and the soft drink vendor have uniforms and caps. Now-a-days the station attendant doesn't exist and the drink vendor might where a company shirt, but that is about it.

Any info on the boat?? What kind of motor? V-12 Allison? Owner? History?

 

It is an Allison alright, you can tell that by the rocker cover shape. Sorry, I don't know a thing about the boat though!

The boat as I recall was a Rayson-Craft. It was built with the Allison to run in the "Salton 500" race at the Salton Sea. I am thinking Dave Zeuschel had something to do with the engine. The boat won the 1964 Salton 500 as well as the Lake Berryessa 6 hour.
