Going to be really cool Kipper. I hope you will keep us posted on your progress. Of course that should include more pictures. John L
Hey Kipper. That is a really nice car.You sure nailed the chop, nice proportions. Can´t wait to see more pic´s of it....Kenneth
Thanks Michael; I took about 2.75 out of the front and about 3.5 in the rear. Then I moved the whole roof forward and filled between the roof and deck lid instead of splitting the roof.
No, not so much. The car looks great, but........the spare tire looks like a string in a centerfold spread. And the exhaust ends ? ....a little to long.
I love the chop. Looks fantastic I'm really fighting the urge to chop mine. Do you have any direct side on pics? Cheers aaron
Here is mine and the whole story: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=764722&showall=1
Here's my 36, been building hot rods for over 50 years and this one is a kick in the ass to drive any where.................
OK....The car lookes great. The spare tire lookes like a monkey's ass. Paint it orange. I guess I am the one.
Here's my '36 before it left for Australia. I know it has changed hands, and if the current owner is on the HAMB I'd like to see it as it is today.
It looks like the tire is too big for the cover. Personally I would run a smaller tire to fit the cover (it's just a spare after all) or take it off all together (what I did). His choice though of course.
I like my rat rod. Tire has a upholstered wizard cover that wasn't in pic but I'm gonna replace it with a custom fabbed spider web one I made....more BAMF ya know? Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
