  1. Makes for crazy burnouts when the drive axle has a couple hundred pounds on it. LOL

Too bad they are so far away.
A side little note. Running the Ortega Hwy thru mountains above Lake Elsinore is a blast, especially in your hot rod.

OK, so I had this crazy thought last night... A COE meet and greet! Somewhere in central North America... Gotta wonder how many we migth get in 1 place. Maybe we could have pizza brought in! :) Of course, it might be a year or two before I could make it... Yeah, just crazy!

  7. I don't think you are crazy! I'm all for it! (I figure 3 years to finish mine)
Back to the Fifties in St Paul is a great venue, (64 and older) Nats North at Kalamazoo is another place worth considering. I will be frequenting the ATHS conventions each year, these are antique trucks of all sizes, so there is always plenty of room to park any size rig. This show moves from city to city, Springfield MO next year.

  8. Don't forget the Lonestar Roundup in Austin, usually around the first weekend on April, the H.A.M.B.'s own.

    Pre 63.

There are some boys up here that are thinking about a caravan to LRU, but that is a long way from cowtown. GGuys Colorado is close to the middle. As for Pizza, doughboy should have his rig done by then :)

I agree with the doughboy pizza delivery but we need someone to build a beer truck!

Surely one of us COE guys has a keg for a fuel tank. Rinse, fill, drain, repeat. :D

  19. Hmmm, lots 13 and 15. Everyone loves a goggle eyed Dodge and I've been looking for a White like that one for years. Unfortunately that one looks pretty rough and rotten, don't think I could buff her out!
550 miles for me, drove a thousand for my Autocar!

No one uses "CB's" in Oz anymore! (27meg)
Everyone just calls UHF Radio's CB's these days! (477mhz)

To get back on topic what does that have to do with COE trucks.

I suppose you just have the phone in yours. You know soon it will be illegal to use hands free and drive.
