  1. No way can she eat all of that with her figure..

  2. That is an interesting tray system. I've never seen one. Must have been provided by the restaurant. .....Staged pictures; have you ever seen one on this thread that looked logical ?:D:rolleyes::p:cool:

Perhaps it was to display the load capacity of the tray... ;)

Merely a drive-in food tray not hanging from the window. Caption accompanying image:

very common in the 50's - 60's mid west, It would let the tray pull up to the inside of the door.

  6. It's a bit different than the outside hanging trays. There is a bracket that holds it to the door edge near the vent window.

Didn't initially draw conclusion that curved bracket was attached to tray. Thank you.

I'm thinking the picture is 'reversed' - where's the steering wheel?

And the car has electric windows

From the reflection in the wind wing glass, it looks like the bracket curves down to both sides of the tray. And true, no sign of a steering wheel. Milkshake on the left hints at a reversed negative, no?

  10. Check out the City of Vancouver archives online, that's where those came from. I already posted some of those earlier on the thread. Be prepared to spend days, looking through one of the best online photo archives.
