My Uncle is flying my Dad and I out to San Francisco for the Toyota Savemart 350 on the 23rd. Have a little time to fill around that. Anybody have suggestions for what is a must see in Frisco? There is a Woodies on the Warf show in Santa Cruz on Saturday that sounds cool.
I figure the HAMB would be in the know for whats to be done out there!

Woodies on the warf would be a great show with some high dollar woodies on display, But it looks like it will cost more to look at cars sitting stil than cars racing.$70 dollars is alittle high to look at someone else's car sitting still!!Then again you could go to Jay Leno's Big Dog Garage for his big raffle next weekend. His general admission is only $995 for a couple and $695 single!!!! DAMN

    Santa Cruz ain't "Frisco".

It's an hour and 18 minutes away.

It's SF for crying out loud. Most beautiful city in the world.

You can see friggin' cars at Fosters Freeze any weekend. Go see Alcatraz.

Can you tell I'm a native San Franciscan?

Holy cow! Didn't see that there was a $70 entrance fee to the Warf!
I know it ain't Frisco but as I recall Santa Cruz is also a nice beach spot. I was there many times as a kid.
Been to Alcatraz and escaped, don't need to go back!

  6. Whatcha been smokin' SmokinBill? Dude, you're the one that's a little high. We've been putting on the Woodies on the Wharf event for 19 years and it's all absolutely free. We don't even charge the woodies that participate. You can't see cars like this every weekend, and for sure you can't see 'em in any cooler setting than on the wharf in Santa Cruz. Woodies vs Alcatraz? Get real.

    End of rant :D
