    The car is an Australian produced Holden, model 48 - 215, more commonly known these days as the FX, a nickname it got at some stage.
    The 48 -215 was produced from 1948 to 1953.
    Where the photo was taken I know not.

    Thanks for posting this photo of one of the prototype Rupp Monza gas powered JR cars. The Red one shown below with the full size Corvair Monza SS prototype is the first one and was made for the son of GM Designer Bill Mitchell and I believe the blue one you posted is for Designer Chuck Jordan's son?[​IMG]

    WOW Thanks - I sat in that seat once for about 5 minutes at WPAFB Museum
    I thought a Connie had a busy seat - That Eng was busier that That 1 legged paper hanger
