I run Holleys at 6psi & Edelbrocks I find don't like more than 5psi, My Fuel pump choice depending on use is Edelbrock or Aeromotive

    Carters like around 5 psi
Holley electric blue with a regulator should be fine unless you are drag racing, then consider a Red

Fuel flow volume is more important than pressure. You want just enough pressure to keep your carb filled without overcoming the float/needle/seat.

A lot of sites offer fuel line size/pump CFM recommendations based on engine HP. Electric, a Holley Red should be fine for your combo. Nice thing about the Red is that you usually don't need a reg.

  7. Don,
Just to ruffle your feathers a bit here bud, black for racing and red for single 4 street. Blue for twin pots street/occaisional strip duty.

But done is correct her blue with a regulator 2x4 street duty and 5 pi si for carters.

  9. Yea but you wouldn't have made as many typos.

That whole color thing with Holley is just wrong by anyone's normal way of thinking. Red should be race man.
