I was gonna paint my 56 chevy flat black, but now Im thinking about putting some color on it. Yes I tried the search function but only saw a couple. Im really interested in seeing some of the flat with the pearl in it.
I have a 30 A pickup painted with HRF flat black and a 26 T painted with HRF white. I really like the paint it is easy to shoot, easy to clean (window cleaner and a rag) and it is super durable.
Ratmat...Im thinking of painting my 61 t-bird hrf flat black but was curious about how the paint sprays, cleans up, oil from the road, grease etc.. by the way great looking truck.. Thanks

A few guys in my club have tried this and say that the HRF went on super flat with no gloss whatsoever. All the attached pics seem to be what one expects as far as being semi-gloss. Anyone have insight on this? Love that copper pearl myself.
There is this new thing called Google http://images.google.com/images?gbv=2&hl=en&sa=1&q="hot+rod+flatz"&btnG=Search+Images&aq=f&oq=
I wanted a red oxide primer look but I didn't like the HRF red oxide so we made our own. HRF is Omni single stage paint with a flattner in it so we mixed up some Omni until we got the color I wanted added flatner and shot it.
I stepped it up a notch when I painted my pickup with Kirker SG black,,6 years ago and still looks great. HRP
What was the exact name of the TCP color? Maroon Hot Rod Flatz? Im looking to shoot some Antique Burgandy but looking for something as dark as what you have here.
