    Yup, I agree. The airplane is a Lightning which at one time was Britain's front line interceptor. The Lightning's were supersonic, the engines 'stacked' ie; one on top of the other. Back in the day a very good friend of mine used to fly them and intercept the Russian Bear Bombers over the North Sea. It looks like the one in the picture will be requiring some heavy maintenance....I hope the pilot made it.

  13. They didn't deliver milk in 1930 in those trucks, that's an A.D. truck in the background and a '55 or '56 that he is standing next to.

    I didn't edit out the caption on the bottom because it's obvious to everyone on this site that those are not THE 1930's trucks they delivered milk in, It should have said SINCE the 1930's. Next time, just for you, I'll make sure that even the smallest mistakes in pictures and captions are pointed out and fixed. :p
