Its been used since the 60s I believe,it highlights the paint by having it against a white contrast.When the rides are parked on the concrete,it looks semi dull,when the salt is added around the car the ride stands out far better
its soo funny here in ohio the last thing we want is to get our cars out in the salty pre or post winter roads and you guys in california willing pour salt on the ground around yours I could see using white sand or that fluffy white stuff ("angel hair"? ) but not salt
Hey Hombres, just wondering if this was the Ink N Iron show cuz I thought they did away with the Long beach Motorama? I always wanted to go to the LBM.
The Motorama started at the Ink n Iron show. Then it was a show on it's own,at the Sports Arena,but was too expensive at that venue,so Trace put it back as part of the Ink n Iron event.

The show is very much in similar to the shows back in the day, that's what the organizer is going for. And he achieves just that
