Eight pages of comments, and the best answer is still "Water".

    I love the HAMB.

  3. Hit it with barnfind clearcoat and drive it.

  8. Yip I agree that you definatly have to use period correct water but it won't be any use unless you use a period correct wash brush and a period correct hose. Anything less than using these 3 items together could seriously damage the original paint work, I wouldn't risk it myself!!

You should make a documented video about washing your barn find with all of these amazing ideas.

  12. I'm glad he asked the question because all the replies you guys are making are cracking me up. I agree; this should be a sticky! Or at least a five star post. :)[IMG]

This thread disproves the old adage that there is no such thing as a stupid question...

Shit. Now we have to start all over again. Are we dealing with 10 feet of dust, or 10 pounds of dust? Completely different process for the two.
I'd start a new thread with exact details so we can walk you through this correctly.

  18. This baffles my brain. I can't even come up with a stupid answer.

    10 feet of dust, Reeeealy?

Of course not 10dt just a exaggeration. It seems now the debate has began, Should you wash a barn find. Me and some mates just blew so much water over her and was gentle the. Went over with hand mitten, leaf blew it, then I rubbed down with micro fiber. I going to hit her with some carnuba and I put a pic up.
