48 ford pickup. It has a modern drivetrain and chassis under it. Put some 760-15 4" whitewalls on it. It doesnt look very kustom right now but it will get the treatment soon. It was a $400 body only special so the different chassis made sense.
I need to get it together a bit more. Unsure of chopping it, it looks pretty cool with a sectioned and trimmed look with the stock roofline First up is the finishing the bed then will go into getting the ground height right
Starting to do some kustom work to the ol girl. Making a new back end, little tailgate. Got an old hollywood lic plate holder light, next is to weld in the Ford script from the beat to hell original tailgate into the new little gate. Thinking about tailights,????. And then pencil tips or flared out exhaust tips.
Unlike most, you've got a good fit going with the late chassis. Keep up the good work! (One vote for no chop; often yields good results with sectioning..) And hats off to Swedeshoebox for his custom Ford. Quite the amazing "home build".
Here`s new pics of my Dodge taken last Sunday.Car will be featured later this year in a local "American Iron" magazine and I took these photos while the pro photographer got out of the way..
Goddamn man!!!!! I think your car has risen to my favorite modern custom. Everything about it flows perfectly. Your dashboard is AMAZING, I've always really wanted to do something kinda similar to my '46. WOW!!!!!
I really like that colour, do you mind if I ask what it is. Cheers Darren Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Glad to see this thread back up top where it belongs. Jeff's dead right, and the merc looks bitchin cos it is bitchin. Paul.
