    I let some friends use it for their wedding, drove it from the church to their farm - reception was in the barn!

    Not sure of my plans for that old '54, not just yet. The 235 engine was rebuilt when I bought it. The truck runs like a champ. It reminds me of the trucks the old guys drove when I was just a kid, so I may leave it pretty much the way it is. I need to replace the wiper motor and gas tank as well as do some other things to it. I've replaced some interior switches and covered the seat -- simple stuff.
    I recently loaded the truck with rotten firewood, tree trimmings and other debris to a dump. Everyone stopped what they were doing to watch an old truck do what it was made to do: work.

    Agreed. Still recognizably (and hopefully usably) a truck, but with a lot more cool dialed in.
