I think you jumbled the words around Quote - he said that once it was done the owner DROVE IT to the L.A. Roaster Show not SOLD IT to someone at the LA Roadster Show.
It does favor they're look but if I'm correct "The Doane Spencer roadster" was the first to utilize this style front suspension and you see roof lines like that form old photos all the time. So looks like I've been lookin the somethings those NY boys has. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
