I was reading the other thread about the buried Model T and thought you guys would get a kick out of this. The coupe was buried almost up to the belt line. It has been sitting there so long that a good sized tree grew through the passenger window and ripped the top of the door off. It is at the bottom of a 30ft ditch that was used as the towns dump. A little more digging and we should have it out. I will post some more pictures when I get it out.
Those are cool pics. How do you plan on getting it to the top of this 30ft ditch once it's dug out? Cool find.
Maybe when your done, we could start on this a 28 Essex suicide coupe. Found it this spring. If yours looks good it may inspire me to dig it up. Love old iron! Subscribed
Very cool. Did you get the rest of the roof panels? Any other old cars or parts in there? Sites like that don't exist much in Socal. They get cleaned up by he "green police".
Wow, that thing doesn't look half bad. And the decklid is there. Looks like the back of another car in the background, and an upside down running board with the bracket still attached to the left. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
The things we do.... I heard of a 32 coupe coming out of the woods in eastern Washington recently ....
It is either a '28 or '29 Business Coupe or Special Coupe. The Sport coupe came with a rumble seat. -Tim
I noticed no gas cap, so you'll have to clean out the tank. And when you get that body out, how will you wash it?
