I found and bought several boxes of NOS parts today, most of it I know what it is but some I just can't remember or figure it out.

    Any Ideas?

The second post, I think is maybe a taillight bezel for a Cadillac.

the first piece I cannot find a cross over ( book list it discontinued as of 1982 ) , but it looks to be a olds moulding part from what I can tell , can you take it out of the wrap and get a better picture of it

I'll see if I can get a better pic of it tomorrow, don't know if I can get it out without tearing up the bag it's really brittle.

I've got a lot more parts, I'll post a few more tomorrow.

    Thanks.

  14. First item looks like a Buick Skylark "bird", to me. 1966 rear quarter chrome bird.

  15. A lot more that you would have if they were for the rear grille of a 68 Chevelle

    Thanks!

Here's a couple more, the bezel has a thick rubber coating sprayed on it.

I'm not having any luck with the site posted.

I'm really surprised at how late some off this stuff is most of the sheet metal and grilles are 47-59.

Taillight lens and bezel (post #16) sure look like 68-72 Chevy pickup.

Tail light bezel in post 18 is for a 63 chevy. I built a trim die for it when I was an apprentice Tool & Die Maker. Guide Lamp, General Motors

This one looks like a 1960 Chevy station wagon tailgate skin?
Are the wagon and Elcamino the same?

Thanks for everyone's help to identify these.
I'm not selling them and they won't end up on ebay, just trying to figure out what they are.

This stuff is like a time capsule to me and I just love finding it and figuring out what it is.

Here's a few more pics if any ones interested.

  26. in post 25 the third pic is for a 63or64 Plymouth b-body light goes beside the licence plate

  27. I think the 327 emblem is for a 68 Camaro front fender

  28. Looks like the grill sides for a 71-ish Chev van ... and the red lense above maybe rear side marker lite for the same van

I looked some van grilles and didn't see any thing like. It's pretty small, about 3"x6".

Yep, that's a '60 Chev tailgate piece. They are the same altho the El Camino doesn't have provisions for the roll up window and the center piece mounts solidly, however that's just a 'skin' and should go on either.
