ok maybe a little early, but 4 weeks from today the nats start.who's going, working on one to drive or what ever. please don't put the *****ing griping thing on here. we all know how some feel.trying to have a positive thread here. i'll start. i'm there..............I hope.NEXT
I would love to go but probably not this year. Hopefully next year my 54 Chevy will be back together and I can drive out.
Four of us will be there from Burlington, iowa in a red/white 56 chevy and a green/silver 40 ford. Been 2 years since we've been there.Would like to take the Kookie Kar to honor Norm , but it always rains there.Looking forward to going, always a fun time.
I'm working on mine now. Took off last week and this week to get it ready. Still got a long way to go. I'll be there with or without it. Hope it's with, more fun that way. If you see a Jade green 30 coupe with unchopped top/with white insert, bobbed rear fenders, 32 gastank, 32 grill...it's me and I'll be a happy s.o.b.
My family reunion always conflicts with it so I've only been able to sneak away a few times over the years, but after 45 years my aunt that hosts it is calling it quits on the reunion, so hopefully I can make it!
I always enjoy going to Louisville but can't make it this year. We have a Grandson getting married that weekend in Michigan. Has Lynn's Paradise Café reopened?
what happened to it ? I have been told it was really good food/great place to eat. Had that on my list for this year?
My dad and I will be coming up, and be joined by my younger half brother from Florida, hopefully driving the 29 RPU on its maiden voyage under 4 banger/ 39 w/ zephers/ Columbia 2-speed power! No top, so hoping for good weather, but packing a hat and jacket just in case! [/IMG]
Bruce, I believe Lynn's shutdown after a labor dispute with their employees. Not to worry Louisville has plenty of good restaurants.
