Its not that your request was that difficult.

From my understanding you want whats red on the Bedford - dark blue, and the black would be red. and the frame would be red.

its just the bit where you said youre going to "invert the grille and logo" I don't even know what that means.

By invert I mean blue hood Red logo, red front and the grill in blue.

Visa-versa is maby the right word?

    My bad.

blue hood red logo... you want the chrome logo painted red? or do you want the raised area painted red. becos that whole raised area, fades into the sides. so theres no stop line.

well since you didn't reply, I just went ahead and did something.

    Hey

You got it! My truck use to by a Danish army truck. So all chrome is deleted.

But you got it right! Could you try doing the front piece around the headlight red and the 3 rows on the grill blue. And the bumper and marker lights red to.

If you have any other Colours that you would find good for this ugly kid of a '50 Chevy and '50 GMC?

Sorry for taking so long to answer, but I'm in Europe, at GMT+2 so in 6-9 hours a head of you, and english is my second language. So my posted may come out a little weird, and at in the middel og the night.

    And Thanks, Mr Jynx. !!

Okay I did what you asked I think.

I don't know what this marker light is, I assumed you meant lights on top of fender. also bumper looked like it was hanging off, so straightened bit.
    (don't know if was)
I`d really struggle what to do with a truck like that so I put up a cleaned up version so anybody else can easily modify.

I know some of the other guys like trucks. maybe they will help?

Im not sure which pics you are referring to, but the version of photoshop doesn't matter. people here are using both photoshop OR
gimp 2 or paint.net which are both free.

If you meant what techniques are used.. that's a big question. there isn't one technique that will suit every car & unfortunately I don't have the time to explain, it would be a wall of text. but if you google there are some tutorials out there.
also start with side shots. much easier to find wheels that match. and to chop and lower.
Sorry I cant help more, not enough hours in the day.

I assumed you meant red steel wheels to match the truck.

I mean the piece that goes between the two frontfenders, the hood and the bumpers. Where the grill and headlights sits in.

But you did good, dispite my bad english, or lack of words. :)

Hey, you did good, Mr Jynx! :)

That blue and red combo looks good.
The 2 last ones ain't bad. I like the semi-flat paint, and i Think about doing that too. Maby leaving the red in nice straight up red and let the blue go semi-flat.
It's so much easy'ere to see it in your head, with Photoshop! ;-)

I'm thinking about doing my middle name in "handwriting" on the doors, abd put the trucks name on the dash. When I desite on the name.

<hr style="color:#e5e5e5; background-color:#e5e5e5" size="1"> hello i'm about ready to paint my car but i want to be sure about the color. i'm thinking a light mint green and white top. also since this picture has been taken the headlights have been frenched, the trim on the hood has been shaved, and its been lowered 4 inches. so if that could be added also if i could get black stealies and wwws that would be fantastic
    [IMG]

i know its not the best pic but its the only one i have in a solid color. the photo shop job would be much appreciated!!!
