    well a poster here on the forum got himself the $20,000 kit that included all the chemicals and hardware and he was not pleased with the quality of their product and tech support to the point of not wanting to continuing in the Spray on Chrome business

    he had some bad experience with them. let me find the pics of his work

    Week ago my friend buy spectra chrome kit for 3000$. Yes silver is good, but adhesion is poor!

    thank you for your reply nicamarvin...just want to ask again your opinion re spray on chrome chemicals and equipment from china. i think it's practical for me to purchase from china because of the shipment issue.

    well I have not test China's chemicals, but know how crafty and smart those guys are I would say they know or at least have done alot of research on this matter. how much are they charging you for the chemicals and shipping?

    I have no hear any reviews of them! Some alibaba images and thats all! And i research web and talk with lot of peoples around the world! 390usd is not a big money! Try it

    Nice thread guys. i like somethings DIY. i have read this thread a month ago, and i try to make my own Spray on chrome chemicals. i had many try and error to make a best chemical. hahahha... i never been success yet , because DIY need more experience to practice..

    i hope my friends here to teach me this DIY chemicals..

    do you need etching for good silver adhesion, like a process electroplating or electroless plating in chroming..?

    gold plated shoes...! hehehe nice. you seem to have the same issues I had with holes, some how they dont seem to silver very well you dont see this untill you clear coat them

    All under clear coat! Yes yes body of helmets is damaged enaught! primer and sand paper is waiting for me ha ha

    NO... but you need chemical bonding to the atomic level... thats what the tin for silver or also known as sensitizer,

    it does not quite look like black chrome. I dont know why.... black chrome should look smoky chrome.

    here I did a smoke chrome effect long ago with graphite powder..

    No no, Nicamarvin it is dark, almost black hrome, but i cant take normal photo! On photo it looks so bright, but in real much better
