Some of you know that I've been working on a 29 roadster for awhile now.
I just wanted to share some pictures.

    Came with an Auburn dash

I noticed there where alot of layers of paint, so I started by stripping that grey primer off and suddenly the car was yellow.

OMG ! I love that roadster, looks like a great project. Are you looking for any history on it or no ?

The body was in bad shape, so I had alot of fixing to do.

The car had two different taillights in the past, 39 Ford units and early Buick.
I decided to go a completely different route and use 41 Hudson taillights for this car. I had only seen them successfully used on Jack Calori's 36 and I figured I'd be the first to use them on a hot rod (I might be wrong but I haven't seen any other examples).

Hudson taillights don't have a flat mounting surface and I decided to french them in slightly, to hide any gaps.
There are backing plates, where the lights mount to (not shown here)

Damn, that looks great. Is that a stock hood you're going to lengthen?

Chris, always been impressed with your work. The coupe, now this roadster. What's next..oh the 36 in the background would be my guess. Keep em coming. Peace.

I hate doing body work, so I try to do everything in stages, a panel at a time.

Little more bodywork. Yes the hood is still a little short.

I don't really believe anyone could actually build a car out of that pile of scrap.
