    Forddraggin, that coupe is awesome! I'm gathering fenders for mine in hopes that maybe, just maybe it might sit like yours! I love it!

    Well the thread title does say All A v8 :rolleyes: so your good. Just make sure to put a 3x2 set up and some finned valve covers on it before it leaves the shop and you can't go wrong.:D

    Hers my chassis. Nevermind the adapter and 283. '39 x member, rear, front, trans. Picking up my bulletproofed Columbia from John in Temecula this weekend. anyone run '40-up pedals in an a chassis? Any linkage pics? Thanks.

    I agree, Chuck. Perfect stance, the right wheels ('40s up front) . . . just needs a few degrees on the windshield.

    Nice enough that it deserves some glossy dark paint, like black, and a simple tan interior. But that's just MHO.

    This isn't mine, and isn't the best shot, but hiding behind his '32 project is an AV8 Sedan which belongs to HAMBer T&AFlathead (Tim); I like what I see of it and wish I was in a position to buy it.

  25. Just read all the way through this thread.. some unreal cars here!

    Heres a few of my '28 Roadster, A frame, currently a 24 stud flatty but will be running a '37 21 stud with aluminium heads and an edelbrock super dual, '39 mercury trans and a '48 mercury rear end.

    Here's a few pix of my mostly-completed `28. Lightly channeled, and traditionally inspired ... not period correct (there are a few later-model components) but mostly built with pre-WW II parts. This little car "could have" been built in 1941:

    Here is my 1930.. 37 flathead, 37 mcculloch supercharger, 37 trans and front end, 40 rear, 40 hydraulic brakes.
    I started out with steel wheels and then decided to switch to wires.
