Just purchased wheels for my galaxie need help with tires

    I'm lost when it comes to tires advise on size where to purchase tires. my wheels are crager 377s they are 15x7 with a -13 offset My car has been lowered about 3 inches and i really need some help

    That boils Down to cost but I would like to run bias plies. I have been all over the Internet looking not having much luck

    nice ride. wide whites aka bias ply do not really go with a late car like yours. you likely can run a 70 or 65 series tire - 60 too wide. maybe 215. wait for late Ford guys to chime in. search for galaxieclub.com

    I wouldn't run bias plys on that car myself. In my opinion, it's a waste of money to run them on a later car where the fender wells so completely cover the tires, and radials handle soooo much better. That said, if your thinking white walls, nothing wider than 1", and a 215/70-15 is tailor made for that car.

    205/70 15 would be appropriate for a sixties cruiser. not wide whites please, pinners or redlines

    Plus 15 inch wheels would be more appropriate for a HAMB car rather than new car wheels. 17's look great on my 2000 Caddy DTS but look like hell most older cars in my book.

    I'm thinking that the only 17 bias ply tire inch tire that will fit that rim would be a ten ply truck tire. if they even sell them anymore.

    I went with 275/60/15 and 245/60/15 on my 64 Mercury. Not lowered though.
