What a great weekend with the best weather ever so we could relax and visit with laughter and tell stories instead of hanging our heads in a dehydrated stupor like most years....
We had many guests at our home before during and after the event.
On Wednesday my personal bodyguard G***erlouie showed up and I took the day off work to hang out with him.
That same morning Eugene Vik of northern MN brought me a cool Caddy 500 engine.

On Thursday I lead a small group on a backroads tour along to Ellis, KS to visit the cool shop of BCR (Mike Keller) who had just come back from winning the muscle car cl*** at the Goodguys Nationals in Columbus, OH.
And Mike was cool enough to feed us lunch including some great hamburgers. Thanks Mike !!

On Friday Mrs. PF cooked a huge breakfast and some guys from CA, KS, and NE came out for that including NEALS49.

Friday at the show was great and I had my mascot "Lucy of Povertyflats" with me at my hospitality booth.
Friday night was the drags where Mrs. PF and her sister Nancy fed perhaps 30 people a picnic style supper.

Saturday was very busy and crowded and exderelict (****) stopped by to see the engine from the Hoodlum roadster he sold me.
And a real treat for me on Saturday was getting to meet Carl Green (whammoman) who told me the coolest stories ever from his days of building customs and Evel Knievel vehicles.

Sunday my pals from KC stopped by and brought US lunch including a homemade blueberry pie. They had even picked the berries.
And also on Sunday I went back to the park to pick up a Buick 401 nailhead engine I had bought.

What a great time......I have made so many friends on the HAMB and am very thankful for you all.

It was fun to have you guys stop by the shop. It is like having company over to the house....you clean up all the stuff you were going to clean up but just haven't gotten around to it.

Show was awesome. Weather was great and really nice cars showed up.

A shot from inside the showroom at BCR shop that shows Hamb members Chris Ryan, Eugene Vik, owner Mike Keller (BCR) and Cuzzin Deke at Ellis, KS and Mike also put on a real cool metalworking demo for us using manual and power machines and that was real popular with the guys...
and I can also see Dan Greenberg thru the door in this photo as well

    PF,
I am from Salina orignaly ( live in Nebraska now) and stoped by to meet you a couple of times, but both times you were swamped with people. So may-be next time around. Friends with **** S. Marvin McIintire, Gerrald Squires, Gary Wooster all back in the old days screwing with hot rods still at the young age of 74
