Just talked to him, stopped for fuel and noticed front suspension issues. Anybody close eh?

  2. Ben beat me to it. Bob thinks it is an upper left balljoint. He wanted to get his cell out there. He is just getting a call into AAA and will be looking for a shop and some help I am sure.

Oh man, he's in the middle of nowhere (although Moosejaw is kind of a cool town with lots of history if he has the time.)

Hope there's some locals who can help him out!

  4. Ben, throw the date in the title so folks do not think this is the OTHER breakdown thread!

Fordnutz lives in Moose Jaw and has the pulse of the rod action in that city.

Ernie Welta & Ben D hooked us up with Brent Davey, the car is at his shop now and he has a upper control to replace the broken one. It was not a upper ball joint.

Can't thank Ben D and Trent enough for posting this. We should be on the road by 10am and according to a local who drives to Green Bay for the Packer Bears game every year it's a 14/15 hour drive straight through.

Have never had this much trouble on single trip before but then again the old girl has got 175,600 miles on her as we speak.

    Thanks Everyone

  22. Moose Jaw may not be the "centre of the universe" but it sure is a better place to have suspension issues than Upper Rubber Boot, Alaska. Thanks, Bob, for sharing your trip with everyone and thanks to all those that lent a hand. Safe travels to both of you and maybe we can share a 'pop' on the salt.
