Help Identify this license plate nacelle

Good morning, can anyone help tell me what year this license plate nacelle is for? We believe it to be somewhere between 1946 and 1951 Ford? can you folks narrow that down a bit?

By the shape of it, which really looks like the grille of the same year, I'm thinkin 46-48 Ford

 

Definitely not '49-51.
