I agree, it's a classic. I was in the 496th FIS in the mid 50's at Hahn Air Base in Germany and worked on the F-86D.

Is it just me, or does the girl in the pink stripes, holding a Shlitz, look to be maybe 15 years old!?!

Used to be, in Wisconsin, parents could allow a child to drink beer and wine in their presence. Even in bars. I think they had be at least 12 yrs. old.

 

But the all time classic name for a jet fighter was the F104 Starfighter. What a name.

 

Never did. Still haven't in my fifth decade either. Rather waste money on vintage iron.

 

Looks like costume designer Edith Head on the left and maybe Frank Capra on the right. The name of the actress they're tinkering with escapes me at the moment. Maybe Jennifer Jones?
