I am trying to build a 1926-27 Ford Tub that will be full fendered. i have been trying to find a ch***is for it with little results. My question is I know that there are a lot of buckets out there. Is it possible that i can use the T bucket frame and change the front cross member as the T has the front member and the axle right under the radiator ? thanks for any ***tance on this from Hamers that are a lot more high tech and talented than I

Throwing the fenders into the mix almost dictates building a custom frame as opposed to an off the rack one. You will get a better fit and it really isn't that hard to do, even if you just tack it up and have someone finish weld it for you.

If you have the body and fenders already simply mock them up where they look right and then design your frame to fit those components. Personally, I would use 2 x 3 x 3/16 box tubing.
