    i really like this. just another take on a difficult chop. glad you didnt go too much on it. did it with taste.

  9. considering the time and effort that went in the chop it turned out nice, good job, it pays to do your own thing and have a different style, cheers.....
     
  10. small update:
    drivers door and right B pillar.
    we re.angled the corners of the quarter windows with a schrink and stretch tool.

  14. over here in the netherlands we can use liquid propane gas as fuel for our cars.this costs 2/3 less than regular fuel.the tank you see in the pics is the 85 litre propane gas tank. I use a impco setup with a type 425 lpg carb.

  17. Thanks we can use it as well I have just never seen a tank inside the vehicle like that before.
     
  18. normally it's in the trunk.
    I placed it over there due the chop because we had a lot of work in the trunk area.

    the rear is a bit to far in the air right now,but there is no weight at the moment at the rear axle.
    its is getting lower.

    Just my opinion but, with a chop like that and the metal work you have done so far.... it's bad ass no matter how you decide on the stance.

    That's very nice work! I've never seen one of these cars chopped before.

    If you were doing it again, would you still cut out the rear window? It looks like you welded it back as it was after you changed tactics. Moving the rear panel forward was brilliant!

    Could you section the rear fenders from the top line down to below the body line, then diagonally back and down behind the wheel opening with a small horizontal cut to join the vertical and diagonal cuts? This might retain the original shape of the back part of the fender.

    You really have my attention. Theses cars are not very popular here and are being savaged for parts. The front axle for my truck was taken from a 47 that some guy chopped to salvage parts. The car was in good shape. For me your work opens some interesting possibilities.
