not gonna lie...I LOVE how this thing keeps progressing!!! Cannot wait to see the body on it, I have this crazy idea to do something similar (dragster with a roadster body), using a model A...

Finally brought the TWIN home from Eagle Field with plans of taking it apart to check everything for our trip to the Billetproof Drags in August. I've been followung the "Mr. C's" Modified Roadster restoration and they have mounted the body and BOY what an inspiration/motivator for me to get the Body mounted on the Twin! The build "Check List" before August includes adding the parachute and mounting my new Hurst Tires. So on with the build and see if we cannot finish before our October Eagle Field Event..........

After the GREAT Time I had @ the Billetproof Hot Rod Eruption in Toutle WA I'm preparing the TWIN to go back Aug 25th. The project list includes mounting the parachute (thank you Chris), updating the belts, ignition, mounting my new HURST tires and maybe some paint.

So I'm in from the shop and have completed the Parachute and tether mount. The tether mount is high for now until the T body gets mounted and I can determine how low I can go with the Turtle Deck on the back.

The Ribbon Chute is way big for the Pack I believe Chris, A friend of mine gave me a chute he dug out of the garbage at the Big Show. All that was wrong with it was it was OILED down, so he washed it and gave it to me. And I'll say this it barely fits, but we got it and the pack looks good. I also put my mascot in place, installed the new belts and checked out the clutch and ring gears with my Bore Scope and ALL Looks good!

Thanks Guys! Tonight I removed the coats of paint off the wheels to paint with VHT Nu Cast before I mount my new HURST tires. I see why they were painted, they are "Stained" pretty bad so after a light coat of Etching Primer I put a couple coats on then "Fogged" a light coat to try and give it the rough cast look, I'm pretty happy with the results.
