BBC flywheel ID

Need help with this please! This wheel measures 13 3/4" across the face and from the faint marks on the face had an 11" disc on it. Is this a 454 wheel? I tried googleing the number but came up with old and different oppinions. The wieght says it is 454,but it came off of my parts stash shelves,some of this stuff since the mid 70's. Ive never owned a 454.

 

Most definitely a 454 flywheel there.

LS5/LS6 454s used that casting number. '69 and 70' I do believe.

 

Well thats good to know because I need one,but I dont know where it could have come from.I would assume that it would use an 11" diaphram clutch cover?

 

Here's another LS-6 item.... Maybe it came off the same 4-speed equipped Chevelle... LOL..

Pretty sure it's a 69-70 LS5-6 flywheel 454

 

Thanks,I'll go with that. Its going to be used in a 454 flat top piston assembly that will be rebalannced,so it should be good. I have the correct balancer,it is on the crank,so now I need to come up with a clutch assy that will work.
