    Just a side note, there are a few more y-blocks up for grabs, not exactly like the one Mark got but similar, there are also more parts for sale. ill be heading up a "swap meet" of sorts or more like small groups of folks who are interested in early hot rod parts to look and possibly buy. If you are interested please shoot me a PM, I will be putting together the first walk through in a few weeks.

    shop clean, i had to rebuild the front end in my Saab before i could start on the 54. need to make sure Becky has reliable transportation before i go away.

    dead motor is out. trans is off, all the stuff i'm swapping over is off. i'm done for the night.

    ***embly of new motor begins bright and early. lots of friends coming by during the course of the day to lend a hand.

    maybe we'll hear tiny little explosions tomorrow?

    Looks like you have a plan, nice looking ride. I miss my '54 gave it to my son 3 years ago, his wife was not happy about the deal, but he was.
