Brake drums

    Hi
    Have 9" ford rear, need brake drums, 11 x 1-3/4 x 4-1/2 bolt pattern.
    Or could use a connection to resurface old ones. I think its a 57-59. Seems like a hard thing to find.
    Building 35 ford delivery.

    do you just need the old ones turned when you say resurfaced? most of the old ones have quite a bit of meat on them. it has gotten a bit harder to find places that will do it without a published max spec they can go by. i guess they are getting afraid of the liability.

    Oreillys has the machine by me. I would assume all locations have them....

    States began passing drum turning limits in the mid 50's....(New York) Lacking a spec. marked on the drum, the "rule" was .060" over factory spec. If you can turn them and stay within that measurement, you should be ok.
